Advanced Biology students will fly to LAX then board a boat for Catalina Island. They will spend three days on the Island, learning about the amazing habitat of the Channel Islands. Students will have the opportunity to experience marine life through, snorkeling, kayaking and lab experiences. As Julia Montgomery, biology teachers explains,"The best way to experience science is by actually "doing" science. It is the best way to learn inquiry, observation and develop solid scientific questioning techniques."
